We took a student conducted tour of Trinity College and gained admission to the museum where we saw the Book of Kells on display. They only show two book pages at a time in a very dimly lit room. People crowded around a table where it was displayed under glass and it was hard to get a look at. In the quad there are two Oregon Maple trees (Oregon Broad Leaf maple) that were brought back in the 1800's. They grow small in Oregon but when brought to Ireland they exploded to a huge size.
